This is the Animatic my group has created. This animatic was created in order to allow us to further understand our story and allow us to decide the times to each shot. This animatic was made by getting our storyboard images and placing them together. We also gave each shot a time length. We gave each shot a time so we would know how long the duration of our opening would be. To improve my animatic i would add more shots because in our opening we would probably change a couple of shots. I would also add more detail to the sound, i would do this so we would know what sounds goes where in our opening. On the other hand, this animatic still does its job of telling us the order of our opening.

Treatment
A first person view of a girl struggling to peal herself up of the damp cold floor. The only thing heard is her heavy breathing to break the eerie silence that surrounds her. She begins to move slowly towards her goal. A close up of her hand clenching a bloody pair of scissors. Ominous mysterious music begins to build as she runs faster. The shot jumps to a moving close up that goes from her feet to her neck. She is wearing ripped dirty pyjamas.A high angle shot of the quiet dark street, you see the girl sprinting with determination down the road. She stops to catch her breath while the music goes back to a unnerving silence. A first person view is once again used, when she looks behind her terrified if the threat is still there and then turns back around. The shot now moves to a long shot and the camera starts slowly approaching her bruised face ,while she makes no eye-contact with it. When the building music hits its peak she looks at the camera with determination. She then begins running again with the camera following her with a shot from behind the girl. She runs out onto an empty dark road and something makes her freeze, it's the sound of a car horn. The camera immediately goes to a medium shot of her turning to face the approaching car. A close up of the scissors being dropped in slow motion while a fuzzy sound is heard. The screen goes black and all that's heard is a car skidding. Words fade in reading "7 days ago"...
Storyboard
For my storyboard I took insperation from the hermeneutic code and I implemented this into my work by posing questions to the audience. Such as, Who is this girl? What happened to her? What is she running from? Ect...
The shots i've used were chosen because I found that these shots embody the feel of the opening im aiming for. Such as, close ups and first person views.

Lighting analysis
Taken:
Batman:
Fight Club:
The lighting in this photo presents a gloomy and serious feel. The background is dark so that there is more focus on the characters facial expression. This is done to make the audience follow and understand the emotion in this scene. The producer wants the audience to have a dominant view with this scene, so they see what the producers want. There is more lighting on his hand to emphasise him speaking on the phone. This is don't to show that this phone call is important. The orange tones used is to show a curtain warmth like he's inside.
Batman:
In this photo the tones that are used are there to show a cold and distant feeling. There are only dark colours, and this is done so that it gives of a mysterious and moody impression. This character is clocked in darkness and only his face has some light on it. The light was postponed in a way to show him looking at something bright as if he's looking at something better and happy. He's in the dark unable to be in the light. Thats the impression I get of this character.
Fight Club:
This photo has mostly orange colours. Once again this is done to show a warmth as if he were inside. The lighting in this shot is focused on him in order to draw attention to him. His face is half covered in a shadow. This is done to make him look serious and it also draws attention to his facial expression that looks hostile. This would make the audience think he's in a fight and he is feeling angry.
