1Min Re-Shoot
This is our take on the opening scene of 'Misery'.
This is the video we re-created in our work:
In mt opinon i believe our one minute re-shoot went well. However, i would improve it by making the cuts cleaner and look more natural. I would do this so the views don't feel uneasy with what they are watching. I would also pay more attention to the lighting, i'll do this by using more superficial lighting in order to match the lighting in 'Misery'. Plus i would try to better match the details of our set. I would match this by using at better desk and involving a lap.
On the other hand i believe we've achieved to match all the fundamental details used in 'Misery'. Such as: the basic lighting, camera angles, the actions of the character and the basic props used. I believe me and my group were successful in matching the depth of field seen in the opening scene of 'Misery'.

Preliminary task
This is my groups preliminary task. This task took place in order for me and my group to understand how to use certain camera angles and techniques. This task also helped us know what quality of sound we should expected when we shoot our thriller opening. If i where to re-shoot this clip i would try to control the background noise more, so our characters voices would be clearer. This backing noise was hard to control when we filmed this clip because multiple classes where happening next to us. In order to control this noise i would either move to a different location or shoot when classes weren't on. In order to further improve this clip i would also add non-diegetic music, so that it could emphasise the element of sadness that the main character feels. This would make the audience feel for this character. We could also use more camera angles like establishing shoots of the class room. I believe our preliminary task was successful because we were able to learn our capabilities and also learn how we work together in a group.
